Holidays

Wow, did the holidays go by fast! Spent traveling, hanging out with family and friends, and relaxing. We spent the 23rd, 24th, and the morning of the 25th in Buffalo and traveling to Buffalo and home. Mason got to meet some new people while we were there. Majority of the people he met were from my dad's side of the family, but he also got to meet some family from my mom's side of the family. When we got to Buffalo we went straight to my Uncle Jon's house for Christmas Eve (well celebrating Christmas Eve on the 23rd) with my dad's side of the family. He got to meet Uncle Jon, Aunt Michelle, cousins Courtney and Alex, my sister Katie, her husband Nick, and their son Jake (who was born 2 days after Mason), and last but not least he finally got to meet Mumu and Poppa (my dad's parents). I was so glad they were finally able to meet Mason, and Jake the same day and that we could get the boys together. Mason and Jake quite didn't know what to do with each other. They just looked at each other, touched each other's faces and arms, and grabbed each other's bibs. The boys tried their first mum mums that night. Mum mums are rice rusks the dissolve in their mouth so they were safe to eat. The were banana flavored and Mason loved his. :) He got a lot of wonderful presents from everyone. :) I was quite excited for the Maple Leaf (Toronto's NHL team) onesies Mason got from Mumu and Poppa.

The next day Mason met his Aunt Kathy, Uncle Tom, and cousin Jenny (They are my mom's aunt, uncle, and cousin) and saw Mason's great great Grandma, who he met back in September (Granny). After spending time with them we went saw my mom who was staying with Uncle Gregg, Aunt Jane, and cousin Nick and Christina. We had a nice dinner with them that night.

When we got back to the hotel, we opened our gifts. Mason got Daddy an Apple TV. It is not another tv but it is something that connects to the tv and we can put the apple apps on our tv, do a slides how on our tv, and other cool things. Mason got me the new iPad, not the mini. We have the best little guy! :) Mason got the Leapfrog My Pal Scout. He likes him so far!

The next morning we got up, packed our things, had breakfast, took a few pictures of our sleepy boy by the hotel tree, and hit the road home. Once we got home we opened more presents with my mom, than headed over to Rob's sister, Heather's house for Christmas with Rob's family. Man oh man, are the grand kids spoiled! We had a lot of presents to open that were for Mason! We are grateful for all the gifts that everyone has given our little guy, and us of course.

Within a few days after Christmas we went over to Rob's Aunt Mary's house to see his cousins. We had a great time seeing everyone! :)

We rang the New Year at our house with some friends. We played games and watched the ball drop. We had a great time with Tim, Snjezana, Nick, and Shauna.

Sorry for not updating sooner but we have a pretty active little guy who is keeping us pretty busy! Look for updates on 5 months, 6 months, and the new things we are up to!

The first 2 pictures are of Mason in front of the Hotel tree.
The next one is of 2 of Rob's sisters Mal and Vanessa.
The following 4 are of Rob's niece Lily and Mason on Christmas Day. Lily knows how to take out Mason's pacifier and put it back in his mouth. She loves to give him kisses.
The next picture is of all the cousins who were at Aunt Mary's house that night.
The last picture is of Rob putting together one of Mason's toys from Christmas.
